Plaza Semporna Receives Official Site Visit from Sawit Kinabalu Group Leadership

SKG Property Sdn Bhd was honoured to welcome Datuk Haji Hazem Mubarak Bin Musa, Chairman of Sawit Kinabalu Group, Dato’ Victor P. Paut, Deputy Chairman, Datuk Victor Ationg, Group Managing Director/Group CEO, Members of the Board of Directors and the Group’s Top Management to Plaza Semporna for an official site visit.

The delegation was welcomed by Ms. Marjorie Henry, Manager of the Property Unit, before receiving a briefing on the latest progress of the 15.6-acres Plaza Semporna commercial development. During the briefing, the Property Unit shared that Phase 1 (Shop Office Blocks A & B) has been completed and is currently awaiting vacant possession, with key handover expected by the end of July 2026. The delegation was also updated on the ongoing construction of Phase 1A (Shop Office Block C) and the next phases of the development, comprising 488 commercial suites—the first commercial suites development in Semporna, petrol station, supermarket, showroom cum office and retail & leisure mall.
The delegation then proceeded on a guided tour of the completed Phase 1 shop office blocks, where they viewed the completed buildings and observed the ongoing construction works for the next phase of the development.

The visit concluded with Datuk Victor Ationg, Group Managing Director/Group CEO of Sawit Kinabalu Group, presenting corporate gifts to Datuk Haji Hazem Mubarak Bin Musa, Chairman of Sawit Kinabalu Group, and the Members of the Board of Directors, followed by a group photography session.

The visit reaffirmed Sawit Kinabalu Group’s commitment to the successful delivery of Plaza Semporna and its vision of developing a landmark commercial destination that will contribute to Semporna’s continued economic growth and strengthen its position as a thriving tourism hub.
